Dr. Flowers

Dr. Flowers was born and raised in Northern Virginia before heading west to Arizona, where she completed both high school and college. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, she answered a call to serve by joining the United States Air Force. Her commitment to service and lifelong learning led her to pursue osteopathic medical training at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine while simultaneously serving in the Air Force Reserves.
During medical school, Dr. Flowers met her husband, also a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, who specializes in musculoskeletal radiology. She went on to complete her Pediatric Residency in Dayton, Ohio while on active duty in the Air Force. Following residency, she continued to serve on active duty for four additional years, dedicating her skills to the care of military families around the world before separating from service in 2026. Her time in the Air Force deeply shaped her approach to medicine—instilling resilience, compassion, and a profound respect for the trust families place in their physicians.
Throughout her training and military career, Dr. Flowers developed a strong passion for preventive healthcare and treating illness through an osteopathic lens—treating the whole person, not just symptoms. She pursued over 100 additional hours of specialized training in lactation support, further strengthening her commitment to comprehensive newborn care. She is especially passionate about supporting both mother and baby in the early days of life, recognizing that caring for a child also means caring for the family as a whole.
Now planting roots in Eastern Tennessee near family, Dr. Flowers and her husband are raising their four young children in a home filled with curiosity, adventure, and connection. They enjoy gardening together growing their own food, traveling to explore new places, and competing in triathlons. As a pediatrician, Dr. Flowers is dedicated to building strong, long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families—walking alongside them from infancy through adolescence, and supporting each child as they grow into confident, independent adulthood.
